Maintenance and service technician - Hiring in process/Finished, not possible to apply

When entering the production hall of Garantell,  there is the zooming sound of busy machines welcoming you. An automated  production. Everything runs smoothly. It looks simple.

But behind the scenes, technicians (with greasy hands) work hard to solve mechanical disruptions. Potential problems are cured before they break through. Thinking about it, technicians are doctors, machine doctors. So hey, will you become one of them?

We are an award winning company (winner of the Smart Industry Award in 2018) and fast growing. And no, we are not flawless. We are self-critical, love to step out of our comfort zone and believe in trusting people.

SELF-LEADING TEAM

Freedom and responsibility are key concepts for us, so we work in self-leading teams. You will be part of the service and maintenance team. You will be one of four (or 3 of 4 if you are a Trekkie). Unfortunately there is no time to play cards, but you will have a lot of on the work floor. That I can promise. As a team you work closely together with the machine programmers and designers, IT and you receive coaching when needed from the production manager.

MUCH TO DO!

Maybe needless to say, but our machines need to be operational, every minute of the day, every day of the week. You work in a challenging environment as several machines form complex automation lines connected by the overall production control system.

So you need not only to be a mechanical trouble fixer. At the same time,  you need also to be great in maintenance, to avoid production stops. You will be working during the daytime, but you need to be available 7 days a week, to en sure production stability.

WHAT ABOUT YOU?

Who are we looking for? Well, get your pen out, and see if you check all the boxes:

• In order to function well in the team you need to speak and write Swedish fluently.
• If I say heeeelp, you say ‘at your service’
• You have good mechanical skills and understanding of automation
• Have a sense of order (no hard feelings for sloppy people, but you are mor the marketing type)

And it would be extra great, if you can even check these ones

• Knowledge of preventive maintenance through training and/or experience
• Experience in project management

If you are not checking all the boxes, no worries, but then you need to be very convincing!
